Based in the Houston, TX Ship Channel area, JA Harris Trucking, Inc. specializes in flatbed trucking. Founded in May 2004 by Jaime A. Harris and Rogelio Gonzalez, the firm operated with only three trucks and four trailers.  In October 2005, Joe Harris joined the group to direct the company’s administration and growth.

 

Today, JA Harris Trucking, Inc. operates 30 trucks crisscrossing the 48 contiguous states under its authority. In March 2007, the company received its brokerage license from the United States Department of Transportation, which gives them added flexibility to broker excess freight to other carriers that exceeds their capabilities.
